5 February 2010 - Dogs in Brampton affected by the Pitbull ban

There has been a lot of talk lately about 2 dogs that are on death row in Brampton for simply being labeled as “Pit Bulls”. The legislation is very far reaching and gives the ability of the Municipal Animal workers to go in and seize dogs.

There is a Facebook group – Injustice Brampton Dogs on Death Row – Free Them Now – started to fight for the rights of these innocent animals. Please consider joining and lending your voice. There is a link on this page to a petition to free these 2 dogs.

This legislation is not confined to Pit Bulls and any dog can be subject to seizure. Do not be fooled into thinking that this cannot happen to you and your canine. Become informed so you know and understand the legislation and how it affects you.
